Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Huge Inspiration (“we”, “us”) covering your use of the Huge Inspiration: Daily Quotes mobile app (the “App”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
1. Your licence to use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the App or its contents, except where the law allows this.
If you downloaded the App from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If it conflicts with these Terms, these Terms apply to the extent the Apple agreement allows.
2. Premium subscriptions
The App is free to download. Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription. It unlocks natural-voice narration, pro image templates, images without a watermark, and unlimited image exports. It is currently offered at $2.99/month or $19.99/year (USD; local prices are shown in the App before you buy).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings: on iPhone, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, go to Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep Premium until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, and we cannot issue them directly. Where the law gives you a right to cancel or get a refund, that right still applies.
- If we change the price, the store will tell you in advance and ask for your consent where required.
- You can restore purchases on a new device with the same store account using Restore purchases on the Premium screen.
3. Quotes and other content
Quotes in the App are credited to the people they are attributed to. We take care over attribution, but many famous quotes are paraphrased or misattributed over time, so we can’t guarantee every one is accurate. Quotes are provided for inspiration and personal reflection.
The App includes material from third parties, used under their licences:
- Background photographs from Unsplash, under the Unsplash License.
- The natural narrator voice is generated with pocket-tts by Kyutai, whose model is licensed under CC BY 4.0.
- Fonts from Google Fonts, under the SIL Open Font License.
Everything else, including the App’s design, code, artwork and our selection of quotes, belongs to us.
4. Things you create
Quotes, reflections and collections you create are yours. They are stored only on your device, so you are responsible for keeping them. Uninstalling the App deletes them. You may share images you make with the image maker for personal and social use. You are responsible for anything you write or share, and it must not infringe anyone else’s rights or break the law.
5. Not professional advice
The App offers motivational and reflective content, including categories such as Mental Health and Healing. It is not medical, psychological, financial or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line straight away.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features of the App. We try to keep the App working well, but we don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.
7. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent the law allows, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending these Terms
You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it. You must cancel any active subscription separately through the store. We may suspend or end your licence if you seriously break these Terms.
10. Apple-specific terms
If you use the App on an Apple device, you also agree that:
- These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for the App.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- If the App fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll change the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the App. If you keep using the App after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of TODO: your jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
